Voiding a Transaction

Sometimes, for whatever reason, a sale must be voided in your records. Luckily, this is an easy fix.

To void a sale, you must first locate it in your records. If you know the sale ID number, you search for it directly in the Sales ID field on your central Sales screen, accessed via the Menu button. If you don’t know the sale ID number, you can search your records in the Recent Sales area on your central Sales screen by entering the date the sale was made in the Date fields. Your transaction should be listed with Posted as the sale’s Status.

When you have located the sale, click the Arrow button to the left of your sale. This will open the Posted Sale screen.

On the Posted Sale screen, click the Void Sale button at the top right side of the screen. A pop-up notification will ask for verification that you would like to void the sale. Click the Void button. The sale will be marked as Voided in your records and you will receive a pop-up confirmation that the sale was voided on your screen.

Note: Voiding a sale cannot be reversed.
