Restaurant Order Substitutions

When a customer asks for a substitution on their orders, there’s no need to pencil it in. PayGo lets you add substitutions right to your guest checks!

Modifying Restaurant Orders

When an item is added to a check in the Restaurant – Touch Sale screen, click the Notes button (conversation bubble) for the line item you wish to modify. This will open the Notes screen for the item.

On this screen, you’ll see options to include No ingredient, Add another ingredient, Extra of a certain ingredient, Substitute one ingredient for another, or add an Allergy Alert to the order. The available ingredients for the item will be listed as buttons, allowing you to click the substitution type and then the relevant ingredient. Your modifications will be listed in the Modifiers field. When you are done modifying the order, click Close. Your modifications will be saved and added to the kitchen ticket.

Note: When an item has been modified in any way, the Notes button will change colors from orange to blue.
