How Do I Correct a Time Card?

Mistakes happen, people are forgetful and sometimes employees can forget to clock in or out. Luckily, it’s a mistake easily remedied with PayGo’Clock! 

Note: This can only be performed by workstation users who have the security clearance to do so. For more information on creating and applying user security settings, see Changing Company Security & Access Settings

To correct a time card, click the PayGo’Clock button via your Menu. This will open the User Time Card window.

Next, locate the time card you’re correcting. You can do this by clicking the Options button at the top of the screen, which will open a sub-menu where you can click the Find Time Cards button to search for the time card by Employee Name, Pay Period Start and End, or Store.

You can also locate a time card by clicking the View Time Cards button at the top of the screen, which will open the Time Card List screen. This screen will show you a list of all time cards created on your PayGo software organized by Employee name, Store, Pay Period Start and End, Status of the time card, and Total Time worked within the specified pay period.

When the time card has been located, click the Magnifying Glass button to the left of the line item to view the employee’s time card. This will open the Time Card View screen.

Select the employee shift you’d like to edit by clicking the Time In or Time Out field within the line you’re correcting. This will open the Edit Time window, where you can make your changes. If you’d like to do so, you can also click the Comment field to add a comment along with the edit.

When you are done making your edits, click the Close button at the top of the screen to exit out of the time card screen. Your changes will be saved.
