Performing Inventory Operations with FancyFree

PayGo’s FancyFree was created to be a simple mobile software solution for all of your inventory needs. It can help you quickly and easily perform a full store inventory, spot-check inventory on hand, and keep all of your inventory records organized in one easy-to-access place.

SpotCheck Inventory

To search for inventory items in your stores, click the SpotCheck Inventory button on your Menu Screen. This will take you to a screen where you can either scan the item’s barcode or search for an item using the Search bar. The parameters that are accepted for this search field are: Item NameItem IDVendor SKU,  UPC, and ISBN.

When an inventory item has been selected, you will be brought to that item’s inventory screen. This is a more pared-down version of the Inventory Screen on your PayGo POS software. In this screen, you have fields for the item’s Name, Picture and Description, as well as the item’s Department, Vendor, Vendor SKU, UPC, and Price. At the bottom of the screen, you can adjust inventory numbers by clicking the Adjust OnHand button. This will take you to a screen where you can enter in the adjusted inventory numbers in the Adjustment # field.  You can also choose whether that number is the Result of counting all of the item, or an Adjustment of the number added or subtracted to the item recorded. This field accepts both positive and negative numbers. You can also add notes for this adjustment in the Adjustment Reason field. When all fields have been entered, click the Adjust button at the bottom of the screen and the adjustment will be posted to your inventory.

Scan & Count

To do a full inventory, click the Scan & Count button on your Menu Screen. This will take you to a screen where you can either Scan an item to count or search for an item using the Search bar. When an item is selected, you will be taken to a screen where you can add the number of the item you have counted in the Count field. Underneath this field, you will see the number of the item that is recorded in your inventory. When you’re done entering the inventory count for this item, it will be saved automatically in your PayGo software. You can also hit the List button above the Scan Item button, which will pull up a list of all the items you have done inventory on.

When you are done with performing the inventory count, click the Home button to go back to the Menu Screen. All values will be saved.
